Q. Do I have to purchase a special foundation for your mattresses or can I use my current box spring?

A. No, Contrary to popular belief and sales pitches there is no "special" foundation needed for memory foam mattresses. The only reason for a solid wood foundation is if you do not already have a foundation of any kind or if you want to eliminate movement of your bed. The system we recommend cost about $12.00. This system is constructed by placing a piece of 7/8" thick piece of plywood between your current box spring and you memory foam mattress.

Q. How does your mattresses compare to TempurPedic®?

A. TemourPedic® uses a type of foam called Tempur Foam®. This is the original version of memory foam developed by NASA. TempurPedic® is the ONLY company that makes this foam. Other companies say NASA foam but this is NOT the same as tempur foam. That being said, Dream by Design memory foam beds will feel virtually identical to the TempurPedic® mattresses.

Q. Why are your prices so low? Is this a quality product?

A. There are a couple reason why Dream by Design prices are so low. Other companies have huge overhead so they must inflate their prices to cover costs. We have next to no overhead. We fabricate our beds, We host our site on our servers, We develop our site in house and we do all of our own advertising. The next reason is greed. We are not greedy. Our products are of the highest quality and go through a rigorous inspection process before ever being shipped. Our products will feel better, last longer and our customer service is far superior than and large corporation that you might see a half hour infomercial on.

Q. How long will it take to receive my e-store?

A.Toppers, Pillows and the component mattress usually take 3 days for east cost, 5 days to west cost and 4 days anywhere in between. XL series, Air, and Adjustable mattresses take 10 to 14 business days to arrive.
